Like every three day weekend Charlie has, we headed out of town. We left longview on Thursday afternoon and headed to the Gulf. We drove 6.5 hours so that we could go fishing with my Aunt Joannie, Uncle Joe, and my Dad.(And yes Jill they are Jimmy fans, and yes their boat's name is 5 O' Clock Here!)
We hit the water at 7 am friday morning and spent all day on the water. The fish weren't bittin' too good, so we headed to Sunday Beach and went swimming. The water was so nice and it would have been perfect but the guys all got shocked by jellyfish! Don't worry they were just baby ones and the guys were fine. 
Saturday we were on the water a little earlier and the fishing still wasn't great, but Joannie was the queen of catching Hardheads. I put up a good fight against two pretty big sharks.
So after another long day on the water we ate dinner at Clark's and headed back to Houston. Charlie and I made it home this afternoon. 
We are both a little worn out from all the sun and water, but it was so much fun. And hey Joe didn't take this trip off our ten lifetime trips! So now we have some sweet tan lines and some great memories!
